We may be swayed by the beauty and freedom that New Zealand promises, but this country isn’t sitting on its laurels. Sauvignon Blanc is still enormously important everywhere, but the continued evolution in the trade and discovery of new sites, soils and exposures mean that this New World country is really only exploring the opportunities still. Embracing the wide diurnal range, the emerging diversity in grapes and styles is super exciting.
