Tindal Wine Merchants Announces Exclusive Irish Distribution of Iconic Margaret River Estate Cape Mentelle

Tindal Wine Merchants is proud to announce its appointment as the exclusive Irish distributor for Cape Mentelle, one of Australia’s most historic and internationally respected wineries.

Founded in 1970 and recognised as one of the pioneering “founding five” wineries of Margaret River, Cape Mentelle has played a defining role in establishing the region as one of the world’s great fine wine destinations. The estate achieved global recognition after winning Australia’s prestigious Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy in consecutive years for its Cabernet Sauvignon, cementing its status as a benchmark producer of premium Australian wine.

Today, Cape Mentelle continues to be celebrated for wines of precision, elegance, and regional expression, with a portfolio spanning Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, and Shiraz. The winery has also been recognised for its commitment to sustainability, becoming the first Margaret River producer to achieve Entwine Sustainable Winegrowing accreditation.
