Tindal Wine Merchants is proud to announce that it has officially achieved Certified B Corporation™ status, joining a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
The certification recognises Tindal Wine Merchants’ long-standing commitment to sustainability, responsible sourcing and stakeholder governance across all areas of the business, reinforcing its belief that commercial success and positive impact should go hand in hand.
The certification process assessed the company across five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. Tindal Wine Merchants demonstrated strong performance through initiatives including sustainable operational improvements, supplier engagement programmes, responsible packaging considerations and long-term investment in employee wellbeing and industry education.
Recent initiatives undertaken by the company include energy-saving upgrades across warehouse and office facilities, reductions in operational energy usage, expanded stakeholder engagement and continued support for sustainable, organic and biodynamic wine producers from around the world.
Tindal Wine Merchants was also the first Irish wine importer certified by Organic Trust to import and distribute organic wines under EU Regulation 2018/848, reflecting a sustainability ethos embedded within the business for many years.
