Section 94 wine uses Sauvignon Blanc fruit from a 28-year-old single site vineyard on the property • The name `Section 94’ was given to that particular parcel of land by early surveyors who divided Marlborough up into sections • Fruit is hand-picked, whole bunch pressed, fermented and aged in old French oak barrels for 18 months • The hint of struck match aromas reflect the use of solids during fermentation and ageing, adding a dimension of complexity and interest due to time on lees • A fuller bodied, textural style of Sauvignon Blanc with proven age-ability [CreationDate] => 2023-09-12T13:22:27.31 [StockTotalBottles] => 246 [StockCases] => 41 [StockBottles] => 0 [StockOnOrderTotalBottles] => 0 [StockOnOrderCases] => 0 [StockOnOrderBottles] => 0 [StockOnOrderAvailableTotalBottles] => 0 [StockOnOrderAvailableCases] => 0 [StockOnOrderAvailableBottles] => 0 [StockOnOrderMaxDeliveryDate] => 0001-01-01T00:00:00 [BasketBottles] => 0 [BasketCases] => 0 [BsktLnNo] => 0 [GroupCode] => F01 [GroupName] => Marlborough [SubGroupCode] => [SuperGroupCode] => 22 [SpecialPriceOverride] => 0 [UnitDescription] => Centilitre [ReportTag] => Standard Product [ReportTagCode] => A [WebProductCategory] => Drinks [WebProductCategoryCode] => 001 [ExciseCode] => 3101 [ExciseDescription] => IMP. Very, very muted oak gives this wine structure rather than flavour. Firm and chalky-textured with the same bright fruit that characterises their regular, earlier release of Sauvignon Blanc. Just more undertow…and ageing potential. Very impressive.
