In 1997, Bernard Alias, the current owner, inherited the property of Douzens. In an economic context of wine crisis, the challenge to be met was for him the detonator of his determination to rise to the rank of the best of his appellation and to be worthy of this earth inherited in terroir of Alaric.

The path was difficult. He surrounded himself with many tips before replanting and restructuring the vineyard. Many hectares have been replanted today offering a wide range of grape varieties.

In 2012, their youngest daughter Christelle, after a little tour of the winemaking world, made a place for herself among this tribe of winegrowers and proudly claims her position as the first woman vine grower of the family.
