[Notes1] => This wine is a splendid example of an everyday-drinking-white, which perfectly exemplifies the dark-spicy terroir of the region, although it is assembled from several grape varieties year after year.
Handwork in the vineyard, hand picking, HANDGEMENGE*.
The new brand HANDGEMENGE stands for the fun-emphasized, casual style of the wine - and for external observers sometimes quite rough-looking drinking and partying habits of the Burgenland-natives.
*HANDGEMENGE = a funny looking, not too serious kind
of turmoil. (In German language it additionally stands for “to assemble something by hand”.)
