Catarratto, Ca di Ponti

Product Code: CP02ZZWC

Tasting Notes

[Notes2] => This wine is a blend of fruit sourced from the Marsala area on the west coast of Sicily, and from high altitude hillside vineyards near Alcamo. The area around Marsala is influenced by the Mediterranean with hot, dry summers and moderately wet and mild winters. Alcamo is further to the north and lies under Mount Bonifato, a limestone mountain that peaks at 825 metres altitude. The climate here is milder with lower summer temperatures and higher rainfall.

That said, careful vinification from dedicated producers has shown the variety is capable of producing interesting wines with juicy texture and crisp lemon flavors.

About this product +

Viticulture >

This wine is a blend of fruit sourced from the Marsala area on the west coast of Sicily, and from high altitude hillside vineyards near Alcamo.

Winemaking >

Protectively handled in stainless steel.
