Alexander discovered his passion for wine in the family vineyard in the 90s. Willing to go further, he created a company dedicated to Languedoc wines. As a real pioneer and visionary man, Alexander Krossa combines technical and commercial know-how to the service of partner winegrowers. His philosophy: being a professional of foreign customer relationship in controlling technical process, selection and blends with his partners, Morin Langaran Estate.

Domaine Morin Langaran (remarkably created in 1330) is located on a calcareous plateau covered with very small stones and fine sand.

The vines face the morning sun and a dominant dry, cold wind which dries the soil. This lack of water is partially balanced by the sea sprays coming from the Bassin of Thau which allows for a very special terroir.

Viticulture

The estate is located on a chalky plateau covered with very small stones and fine sand. While one side of the slopes face the morning sun, the other is very dry and the cool winds dry out the soil – this is then balanced with sea sprays coming from the Bassin of Thau.

Winemaking

This particular grape, 100% Pique poule is harvested at night to protect the aromas and freshness. Famous for its tall dark ’bottle-green’ design Picpoul is quickly becoming a must on every wine list. It is dry, crisp and really holds its own from seafood to chicken, aperitif to main. A great all-rounder with much finesse and minerailltiy.
