Viticulture

Minchinbury wines are produced from Australian-grown grapes, selected to deliver freshness, consistency and approachable fruit character. For the sparkling wines, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are key varieties, chosen for their natural acidity, finesse and suitability for sparkling wine production. Vineyard sourcing is focused on fruit that retains bright acidity and clean varietal expression, helping create the fresh and lively style associated with Minchinbury.

Winemaking

In the winery, the emphasis is on preserving fresh fruit character, balance and vibrancy. The base wines are carefully blended to achieve a consistent house style before undergoing secondary fermentation, which creates the wine’s characteristic bubbles. Careful handling throughout the process helps retain freshness and acidity, producing sparkling wines with an approachable, crisp and fruit-forward character.
