Viticulture

Favre vineyards are easily identifiable by the way the vines are planted. Specifically, the vines were planted in two tight rows and a larger row, mainly to promote productivity. This configuration gives harvesters better access to grapes. The vines are also more accessible to the specialized machine that removes excess leaves. Their removal increases the circulation of air inside the canopy, which prevents rot and other diseases of the vine. Thanks to this system, Favre can do without pesticides.
