Sales Account Manager / Munster and Connacht

Role Description

We are seeking highly motivated and results driven individual(s) to join our sales team in two regions – Munster and Connacht. These are separate roles; we’re seeking applicants from either region.

Located in either region the candidate will manage and grow the existing sales area and exceed targets based on growth, new business and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven and up to date track record in their area, strong local knowledge and experience with the wine trade. Wine knowledge and strong interpersonal skills are important as we seek to maintain and develop long-term, trust driven relationships with our clients.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven on-trade sales experience
  • Strong wine knowledge
  • Organised, pro-active and a self-starter driven by results
  • Strong people skills and a persuasive communicator with confidence to influence at all levels
  • Negotiation skills and ability to find solutions in a range of scenarios
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience in F and B, wine retail and/or local knowledge; wine qualifications beneficial

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow sales volume and value while maintaining margin to meet sales targets 
  • Maintain and develop existing customer base through trust based long-term relationships
  • Identify, open and onboard profitable new accounts in the territory
  • Manage pricing, debtors and account profitability
  • Manage journey planning and organisation of tasks for best use of your time, customer requirements and ultimate benefit to the company
  • Ensure strong, concise and professional communication between colleagues
  • Build and develop strong relationships among stakeholders in accounts
  • Promote and provide leading staff training programmes for your account base
  • Provide accurate forecasting and report regularly with management on progress of KPIs
  • Seek opportunities for events and/or placement of key producers among accounts
  • Provide feedback from the market and competitor activities
  • Represent TWM, yourself and our producers as leaders in the trade and your territory
  • Manage sales orders and pricing continuously
